My Training Philosophy
A quality training program assures that all employees, whether line employees or managers, have the tools they need to succeed. This not only maximizes overall efficiency of restaurant operations but also encourages a culture of constant progression and learning in a dynamic industry.
All training programs are a work in progress, everyone in your employ should be able to train their position with accuracy and detail to produce new effective personnel. Your ability to increase sales and lower costs are directly correlated with training. Trainees progress from a position of dependency on the knowledge and guidance of supervisors and trainers, to interdependency, to independent practice that is genial and collaborative.
As a trainer I set a good example in the workplace, all eyes are on me for direction. My professional conduct extends out to diners
and vendors as well as employees. I have a convincing personality and believe in the success of everyone.
You need have a great Employees Manual. If you don't I'll create one or fix the existing one.
To be successful in the restaurant industry you need your employees to be consistent and the customer experience predictable.
